Rome
Roma

Rome

Italy begins in Rome — and you'll never forget the way it starts. Saint Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, one of the most beautiful churches on earth. Saint Mary Major. The Colosseum and the Pantheon, both still standing after all this time. The Trevi Fountain in golden light, coins flying into the water for the promise of coming back. The Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona alive with painters, fountains, and the kind of Italian buzz you only get in Rome.

An Aperol spritz at sunset, a long Roman dinner, and the feeling — already — that this is exactly the trip you were meant to be on.

The Amalfi Coast
Costiera Amalfitana

The Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast doesn't just look like the postcards — it looks better. Cliffs falling straight into a Mediterranean so blue it doesn't seem real. Pastel houses stacked up against the sky in pink and yellow and white. Lemon groves cascading down to the water. You'll see it all from a private boat — Positano and Amalfi from the sea, where the colour of the water has to be seen to be believed. This is the Italy that has charmed writers, artists, and dreamers for 200 years.

From a boat, you understand why.

Puglia & the South
Il Sud
III

Puglia & the South

This is the Italy most travellers never see — the south, where the air slows down and the stories run deep. The trulli of Alberobello, fairy-tale stone houses with cone-shaped roofs, white-washed by hand, lived in for centuries — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most photographed places in Italy. The cave dwellings of Matera, carved into the rock 9,000 years ago, still inhabited today. And the sanctuary of Saint Padre Pio, where pilgrims from every corner of the world come to kneel in silence.

The Italy that gets under your skin.

Umbria
Umbria
IV

Umbria

Umbria is where Italy exhales. The green heart of the country — rolling hills, olive groves, cypress trees, medieval towns the colour of honey and rose. Cascia, where Saint Rita lived and is laid to rest, drawing pilgrims for 600 years. Assisi, where Saint Francis walked beneath the same olive trees that still grow there today, and where his basilica still glows gold at sunset.

The kind of quiet you don't realise you've been missing — and the Italy you'll carry home with you.
Highlights

The Basilica of Saint Francis · The shrine of Saint Rita in Cascia · The medieval hill towns and olive groves of Umbria

Tuscany & the Veneto
Toscana & Veneto
V

Tuscany & the Veneto

Three of Italy's most iconic cities — with one of the most unforgettable arrivals in the world saved for last. Pisa first: the Leaning Tower, the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Cathedral and Baptistery, and a Tuscan afternoon you'll never forget. Padua and the Basilica of Saint Anthony, where pilgrims have prayed for 800 years. And then Venice — entered by boat, gliding straight into the canals, Saint Mark's coming into view as the city reveals itself in front of you. And if you want it, a gondola ride through the quiet back canals, where the only sound is the water and the gondolier's slow rhythm — the kind of moment you've always imagined Venice could be, and somehow, it's even better.

Some arrivals stay with you for life.
Highlights

The Leaning Tower of Pisa · The Piazza dei Miracoli · The Basilica of Saint Anthony · Arriving in Venice by boat · Saint Mark's Basilica · Optional gondola ride through the canals

Lake Como & Milan
Lago di Como
VI

Lake Como & Milan

Italy at its most refined. A private boat on Lake Como — the most elegant lake in the world, where historic villas perch over crystal-clear water, lakeside villages glow in soft light, and the Alps rise in the distance. Then Milan, the city where Italian fashion, design, and elegance were born. The Duomo, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals on earth. The Galleria with its glass arcades. The cafés where Hemingway wrote, the boutiques where the world's most beautiful clothes are still made by hand. And a half day free to shop Via Montenapoleone — Italy's most famous shopping street — where the great Italian fashion houses still line the cobblestones.

Italy goes out on its highest note.

Malta
Malta
VII

Malta

A short flight from Milan and suddenly you're in the middle of the Mediterranean — a different world, a different rhythm, a different blue. Honey-coloured Valletta, an entire city carved from limestone, walls built by the Knights of Malta in 1566 and still standing. Inside Saint John's Co-Cathedral, every surface is gilded — and on one wall, one of Caravaggio's signed masterpieces. The sacred Grotto of Saint Paul, where the Apostle is said to have sheltered after being shipwrecked on the island. A boat along the Maltese coast where the water turns turquoise. And, if you want it, an optional day at the Blue Lagoon of Comino, where the water changes colour with the light (additional charges may apply).

Four days at Mediterranean pace — the kind of break you've been needing without knowing it.
Highlights

Valletta (UNESCO) · Saint John's Co-Cathedral and the Caravaggio · Saint Paul's Grotto · A boat along the Maltese coast · Optional Blue Lagoon excursion at Comino (additional charges may apply)

Sicily
Sicilia
VIII

Sicily

The journey closes in Sicily — and what a way to close it. The ferry from Malta, then the slow approach to Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, smoking against a blue sky, vineyards growing on the lava plains below. Taormina by cable car — the Ionian Sea below, Mount Etna behind, the ancient Greek theatre on the cliff, and elegant streets to wander. The Baroque streets of Catania, and the gold-stone island of Ortigia, explored by boat, where every alley holds a story older than most countries.

A Sicily you'll remember long after you've come home.
